A close view of all the specific events and progress we made in the first 9 months of 2019.
The Rain and Rose Fund exists to empower struggling Puerto Ricans to lift themselves out of poverty by giving them the essential tools they need to recover from a difficult past, maintain stability in a challenging present, and look with hope towards a bright future. Thanks to their generous support in 2019 we have being able to successfully accomplish the first stage of our program in Juncos. With their continued support in 2020 we would be able to expand and complete the second stage of our program.
Making Real Change After School
Children who attend a Mar Azul Learning Center display better work habits, task persistence, social skills, pro-social behaviors, academic performance, and less aggressive behavior at the end of the school year.
