Poverty & Relationships
We know that more than a lack of material resources, poverty is first and above all a lack of healthy relationships. Imagine going through life alone—without any support structure, a family and friends to pick you up when you fall, or people you can rely on to ask for advice, encouragement, or accountability. Social poverty exacerbates material poverty.

How we do it?
We develop custom-tailor afterschool programs in areas of extreme poverty in Puerto Rico. We call them Learning Centers. Our programs can boost academic performance, reduce risky behaviors, promote physical health, and provide a safe, structured environment for the children.
